§ 6-84-2. Permit—Required—Term—Contents.

No person shall operate or maintain an undertaking establishment within the city until a permit therefor shall have been issued by the health officer, which permit shall be valid for one calendar year. A new permit shall be secured at the first of each calendar year. Every funeral home shall pay to the city and county health department an annual permit fee of $50.00. This fee shall be due on January 1 of each year and must be paid by January 31. All permits shall be in writing and shall state the conditions under which the operation shall be maintained and the term for which the permit is allowed.
