§ 9-76-8. Location, construction and operation of wells generally.

A.

All wells shall be located, constructed and operated in accordance with the rules and regulations adopted by the department of health, and the water shall be of a safe, sanitary quality.

B.

No well shall be located close enough to any existing or proposed well of the light, gas and water division of the city to materially affect the static head of water from the underground strata of any such well or proposed well of the public supply.
