§ 9-48-2. Roadway accessibility.

Where fire hydrants are installed to comply with the provisions of this chapter, approved all-weather roadways, drives, and/or fire lanes are to be provided before construction begins. Temporary roadways, drives, and/or fire lanes, where installed to facilitate work on the site, shall be located with consideration to fire hydrants and shall be approved by the fire official. Roadways, drives, and/or fire lanes shall be properly maintained and unobstructed at all times. In no case shall any building or structure herein described be issued an occupancy permit until all required roadways, drives, and/or fire lanes are completely installed.
