§ 6-68-11. Alternate method of information delivery.

In lieu of the required delivery of cards under section 6-68-10, a secondhand dealer may transmit the required information from such cards electronically to the chief of police via modem or may deliver the required information to the chief of police on a computer diskette, provided the method of delivery is compatible with the equipment and systems utilized by the chief of police for the receipt of such information and provided further that the secondhand dealer retains the original information cards on his or her premises and carefully preserves the same without alteration and makes them available during regular business hours for inspection by the chief of police or any police officer of this city.
