§ 6-68-12. Transaction fee.

Every secondhand dealer shall pay to the chief of police a fee of $1.00 for each information card delivered to the chief of police pursuant to section 6-68-10 of this chapter. The aggregate fee for all such cards delivered to the chief of police within a given week shall be remitted to the director of police services or deposited in a designated city depository weekly on or before 5:00 p.m. of such week. The fee will be designated for the processing of such cards required to be delivered to the chief of police. This requirement shall not apply to secondhand dealers who transmit the required information to the chief of police in the manner provided in section 6-68-11 of this chapter.
