§ 6-52-4. Location near playgrounds or schools prohibited; exception.

A.

It is unlawful for any owner or operator of a mechanical amusement device to cause, permit or allow the same to be located, operated or maintained to be operated within 600 feet of the nearest street entrance to or exit from any public playground or public or private school of elementary or high school grades, such 600 feet to be measured from the entrance or exit in the most direct line or route on, along or across such street adjacent to such public playground or public or private school.

B.

This section shall apply to devices operated for the playing of music.
