§ 5-4-7. Claims to be filed with comptroller.

Latest version.

No claim against the city, except through litigation, shall be paid until same shall have first been filed for record in the office of the comptroller. For the purposes of this section, estimates or certificates of work done or amounts earned under contracts shall be considered as claims presented.
