§ 2-34-8. Duty to enforce Code of Ordinances.

It shall be the duty of the commander of the public housing security services unit and all his or her subordinates to enforce all statutes and ordinances, and to arrest offenders for violations thereof to be dealt with according to law. Persons appointed as community service officers shall have the same power and authority as regular police officers to enforce all statutes and ordinances at the service area but not elsewhere, except in pursuit. When not assigned to duty, community services officers shall enjoy only those powers possessed by private persons.
