§ 2-12-11. Failure to appear in court; warrant.

A.

It is unlawful for a defendant to fail to appear in court at the time and place designated by a citation or summons issued in lieu of arrest.

B.

Pursuant to T.C.A. § 7-63-105, such failure to appear shall result in the municipal court immediately issuing a warrant against the defendant for the offense as set forth in the original process and for the additional charge of failure to appear.
