§ 2-11-1. Election procedure.

A.

All charter commissioners shall be elected at large by position by popular vote. A person may only qualify as a candidate for one position and the candidate shall designate on his or her nominating petition the position by number 1 through 7, both inclusive, for which he or she is a candidate.

B.

Each candidate shall be required to file a nominating petition with the Shelby County election commission before the deadline prescribed by the commission using the same forms, processes and requirements imposed on city council candidates.
