§ 14-16-50. Use of elevators and escalators as required exits.

The use of elevators and escalators for required exits shall be permitted only when in conformity with the requirements of the city/county building code, except that no escalator will be accredited as a required means of exit which has a vertical travel of more than two stories or 35 feet.
