§ 12-80-18. Safety gates to be counterbalanced.

All railroad safety gates in the city shall be so counterbalanced, or otherwise arranged, that they cannot fall to a horizontal position by their own weight. The use by any railroad company of safety gates not constructed in accordance with this section shall be deemed a misdemeanor.
