§ 12-56-32. What rights acquired under article.

No person shall, by reason of compliance with this article, acquire any rights or privileges other or further than herein specifically expressed, and nothing herein contained shall be construed as extending or changing the terms, length of time or any of the conditions of any contract or agreement now existing between the city and any such person. The occupation and operation of conduits and manholes shall be upon the same terms, lengths of time and conditions as now fixed by law or contract for the maintenance and use of overhead poles and wires.
