§ 9-56-42. Official to designate special officer.

Both the director of the division of public works and the director of solid waste are authorized to designate certain city employees to become special officers of the municipality to issue citations in lieu of arrest to offenders that violate the provisions of this chapter in such cases as they have jurisdiction.
