§ 9-100-5. Failure of offender to appear for trial.

  • It is unlawful for any person to violate his or her written promise, given to an employee officer upon the issuance of a citation ticket, to appear regardless of the disposition of the charge for which such citation ticket was originally issued, and failure of the offender to appear for trial after signing of the ordinance summons agreement shall cause the court having jurisdiction thereof to issue a warrant against the offender, as provided for in T.C.A. § 7-63-105.
