§ 8-16-5. Duplicate dog licenses or tags.

In the event a dog tag or license is lost, stolen or unavoidably mutilated, damaged or destroyed, the administrator in charge of the animal shelter may, in his or her discretion, and upon sworn application of the owner of the dog for which the license was purchased, setting forth the facts in connection therewith, and after investigation thereof, issue a duplicate license and tag upon payment of a fee of $2.00.
