§ 7-8-8. Application—Citizens' certificate to accompany.

There shall be attached to each application for a license under this article a certificate
signed by at least ten reputable citizens residing or doing business in the ward in
which the petitioner seeks to do business, stating the residence or place of business
of each person, and certifying the length of time that such persons have been acquainted
with the petitioner, and if petitioner is a corporation or association, the length
of time they have been acquainted with its officers or members, and that they have
good reason to believe that all of the statements contained in the petition are true,
and that they join in the prayer of the petitioner for the granting of the license
prayed for.
