§ 6-8-3. Water and/or water closets and equipment requirements for barbershops.

  • A.

    Barbershops shall be equipped with adequate hot and cold running water, and be provided with one lavatory for each chair. Toilet facilities shall be required and shall be conveniently located. All appliances, tools, furnishings and material as may be necessary shall be furnished to enable persons employed in and about the barbershops to comply with the requirements of this chapter and of the health department.

    B.

    The water supply shall be adequate, of a safe, sanitary quality and from an approved source.

    C.

    All sewage shall be disposed of in a public sewerage system, or in the absence thereof, in a manner approved by the health officer.
