§ 4-8-10. Employment of actuary and other employees.

The board may employ such counsel (who may be counsel for the city), actuaries, consultants,
accountants, and other agents as it shall deem advisable and necessary to administer
the plan. All costs and expenses of the board and the fees of legal counsel, actuaries,
consultants, accountants, and other agents shall be paid by the city, or the city
shall cause such costs and expenses to be paid by the comptroller out of the trust
fund as provided in section 4-12-5.
