§ 2-88-7. Duties.

    It shall be the duty of the traffic advisory commission to study both general and specific problems of the city relating to the flow of traffic, traffic safety, the parking of vehicles, both on- and off-street, problems relating to specific intersections in the city, and to make recommendations with reference thereto to the city engineer. It shall be the further duty of the traffic advisory commission to hear complaints and suggestions at regular or special meetings of the commission, and if necessary to hold hearings with reference to specific problems relating to traffic, traffic safety, traffic control and parking, and to make recommendations to the city engineer based on its findings with reference thereto. It shall be the further duty of the traffic advisory commission to study general and specific problems with reference to public transportation systems existing in the city and to make recommendations based on its findings with reference thereto.

    B.

    Including, but without being limited to the foregoing, the traffic advisory commission shall concern itself with all problems relating to traffic and with a view of making recommendations to the city engineer so as to acquaint the city engineer with its findings, ideas and recommendations concerning such problems.
