§ 2-86-1. Establishment, designation and membership.
There is established a commission designated and known as the commission on alcohol and drug abuse, such commission to consist of 11 members. The members of the commission shall be appointed: two members by the mayor of the city and two members by the mayor of the county; four jointly by the city and county mayors as representatives of and on recommendation by the president of the United Way, the state commission of human services, the commission of education and the state commissioner of mental health; and three citizen members jointly by the mayors of the city and county, all subject to approval of the city council and the county board of commissioners.
