§ 2-70-2. Appointment and terms of members.

The members of the city beautiful commission shall be appointed by the mayor with the approval of the city council. Of the 35 membership, beginning with July 1, 1998, at least 17 members shall be appointed for an initial term of one year, and a maximum of 18 members may be appointed for an initial term of two years. Thereafter all terms of office for all members shall be for a period of two years expiring on June 30 of their two-year tenure.
