Chapter 2-60. MEMPHIS ADVISORY COUNCIL ON HUMAN SERVICES |
§ 2-60-4. Duties and purposes.
The duties and purposes of the council shall be to:
A.
Meet on a monthly basis with representatives of city divisions, bureaus, agencies, boards, commissions, authorities and/or quasi-city agencies for the purpose of communicating needs and bringing written reports and/or recommendations, and receiving information as to city and community services, requirements and/or regulations for discussion and consideration;
B.
Study general and specific problems relating to human service needs;
C.
Conduct seminars, conferences or public hearings relating to community human needs;
D.
Coordinate information among various organizations, collect data, assist and encourage needs assessments;
E.
Provide reports and recommendations concerning human services.
