§ 2-4-9. Delivery of city property to successors.

Every officer or agent of the city, on going out of office, shall deliver over to his or her successor or to the mayor, all books, papers, accounts, tools, instruments and everything pertaining to his or her office, and be entitled to a receipt therefor, if required.
