§ 2-44-5. Time of meetings; quorum; secretary.

  • The regulatory board shall meet regularly on the first Wednesday of each quarter, at a time specified by the board, in the office of the public service director; provided that, if and when additional franchise agreements may be granted, then, and in that event, meetings shall be held regularly on the first Wednesday of each month in the office of the public service director, at a time specified. Special meetings may be held at such other times as may be called by the chairperson or a majority of the members thereof. Three members of the board shall constitute a quorum to transact any business, and it will require not less than three affirmative votes to carry out any matter before the board. The board shall appoint a secretary who may, but need not necessarily, be a member of the board.
