§ 2-30-1. Definitions.

  • As used in this chapter:

    Limited special police officer is any person qualified hereunder except who is not authorized to carry firearms on duty.

    Special police officer is any person who accepts employment for hire, fee or reward for the purpose of policing, watching and guarding the property or premises of individuals, firms, partnerships, associations, corporations, company or organization of any kind within the limits of the city.
