§ 2-28-14. Offenses against police officers.

It is unlawful for any person to assault or commit a battery upon any member of the police force, to resist the lawful arrest by any member of the police force, to escape from any lawful arrest by a member of the police force, to aid and abet in the escape from lawful arrest, or to obstruct or interfere in any manner with any police officer while in the performance of his or her lawful duties.
