§ 14-16-106. Emergency signal.

Each automatic operation or continuous-pressure-operation elevator shall be equipped with either an emergency signal that can be operated from within the car and which is clearly audible outside the hoistway or shall be equipped with a telephone located in the car and connected to a central exchange or to a private exchange which is continuously attended.
