§ 14-16-3. Enforcement of chapter.

A.

Except where otherwise provided, the office of planning and development shall have the power and it shall be its duty to enforce the provisions of this chapter and the rules and regulations recommended by the board of elevator rules and adopted by the city council.

B.

It shall be the duty of the director of planning and development to direct the enforcement of this chapter through the personnel of the Memphis and Shelby County office of construction code enforcement.
