§ 14-12-27. Special inspector's commission generally.
A.
Upon the request of any company authorized to insure against loss from explosion of boilers and unfired pressure vessels in the city, a commission as a special inspector and an identifying corn mission card shall be issued by the chief inspector to an inspector in the employ of such company, provided the inspector has successfully passed the written examination and holds a certificate of competency, as set forth in section 14-12-26. Work cards expire December 31 of each year. Annual renewal shall be made upon request of the holder for a fee of $10.00.
B.
Commissions issued to inspectors in the employ of such companies shall be held at the home office of the employing company. The commission and the identifying commission card shall be returned to the chief inspector when the inspector to whom the commission was issued is no longer in its employ or at the request of the chief inspector.
