§ 12-96-2. Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to provide for and to promote the safety of persons and property in connection with the use, operation and equipment of motorboats, and to provide regulations relating to the use thereof, which are consistent with and in conformity with the laws of the United States regulating the use of motorboats upon navigable waters.
