§ 12-56-1. Compliance with National Electrical Safety Code.

All poles, wires and conduits authorized or required by this chapter shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the applicable provisions of the National Electrical Safety Code, 1977 Edition, as amended, and it shall be a misdemeanor for any person or corporation to have, use or maintain within the limits of the city any such installation that does not meet such requirements as to quality or safety. Compliance with the National Electrical Safety Code shall be a complete compliance with all requirements of the city for the construction, maintenance and operation of poles, wires, conduits and other facilities in the city.
