Chapter 10-4. STATE MISDEMEANOR STATUTES ADOPTED |
§ 10-4-1. State misdemeanors.
A.
Any offense made a misdemeanor under the laws of the state, committed within the corporate limits of the city, which the legislative body of the city could, by ordinance, make a misdemeanor by virtue of the charter powers of the city, shall be a misdemeanor.
B.
It shall be a misdemeanor against this city for any person to do or cause to be done any act which shall be declared a misdemeanor against the state by legislation hereafter passed, whenever such act is committed within the corporate jurisdiction of the city, after such state legislation has become effective and in force and effect upon the inhabitants of this state.
